Our studio apartments are located in the ground floor of a historical villa in the unique district of Lviv, which was called Nowy Swiat. Located within the 15 minutes’ walking distance from the railway station, the house is only 20 minutes’ walk from the historical center.
Our house is 110 years old and demonstrates historic housing development of this part of Lviv in late XIX – early XX. It’s exposed red brickwork is decorated with stucco moulding along with some woodwork elements featuring Carpathian folk design. It makes the house an interesting example of the Lviv approach to the Art Nouveau style, which was so popular at that time.
Years of insufficient respect and care had their impact, and we still have a lot of renovations ahead. But in 2015 we did a serious reconstruction to strengthen the building and add modern conveniences to our studios. Now the apartments are equipped with individual heating systems and heated floors for maximum comfort of our guests all year round. Meanwhile we do every effort to save the delicate atmosphere of the old Lviv house, which we love so much!
The guests are welcome to enjoy the small shady back yard garden and have a cup of coffee on a swinging bench under the huge old pear-tree!
